Welcome to CIYMS Rugby Club

CIYMS is a rugby club with a long and proud tradition. Players on the squad today know that over the years the number on the jersey they wear will very probably have been worn by an Irish International or even a British Lion.

CIYMS is now resurgent, having won Kukri Qualifying 2 in 2010-2011 we move into Qualifying 1 full of confidence with a young, dedicated side.

CIYMS boasts an extended squad of 60+ players and four senior teams. While the I XV achieved promotion in 2010-2011 the II XV also had a fantastic season and are hotly tipped for promotion in the upcoming season.

In February 2011 CIYMS became one of the first eight clubs in Ireland to be awarded the new IRFU Club Excellence Award. Indeed CIYMS is one of only two Ulster clubs to have been awarded this award.

Anyone is welcome to join CI Rugby Club, training nights are Mondays 7pm and Thursdays at 7pm. CI is a fantastic social club so whether you have ambitions to play for the 1sts or just fancy 30 minutes for the 4ths CIYMS RFC is the club for you.
