11 Oct CIYMS VS ENNISKILLEN PREVIEW
CIYMS entertain Enniskillen on Saturday, keen to get our first win after some encouraging signs once again in the second half last week against Dromore – a much closer result than the opening day clash. The challenge against Skins is to stretch the second half performance we have now seen several times across a full 80-plus minutes. Skins have beaten Grosvenor at home and got a draw versus Clogher Valley, having lost at home to Dromore. They sit mid table after 3 games.
Elsewhere Clogher Valley v Portadown will be a close one to call and will be of great interest to CI. Dromore entertain a resurgent Carrick at Barban Hill and will be looking to stretch their lead at the top. Ballyclare will look to close the gap at the top with a win at Grosvenor. Cooke and Instonians are in Conference action against Hinch and Armagh 2s, giving their league rivals a chance overtake them in a league that will have many twists and turns in the weeks ahead.
Meanwhile, CI 2s take on Malone 3s under the lights at Belmont on Friday night and all support will be greatly appreciated.
