WELCOME TO CIYMS

I was delighted to be asked to serve as President for the 2025/26 season.  We have a massive year ahead of us, back in Championship One with some really attractive fixtures, and I can’t wait for it to start. We also have a full programme of 2s and 3s matches which will require the full support of us all  – three teams , one club! 

Our Youth and Minis sections  are thriving and provide a pathway for players to be part of the club right through from P1 to school leaver age.  I have great memories of my years as a Minis dad and coach! 

The Club has signed a host of new players for 25/26 which is truly exciting but we have also made changes off the pitch with a new team of Vice Presidents now in place to support many aspects of how we operate . I have no doubt they will have a big impact and give us even greater momentum in the years ahead. Exciting times!

My greatest wish for 25/26 , apart obviously from on the field success for all our teams, is that we see more “ CI men” return to the fold and support us to the full as we strive to return to the status the club once enjoyed. There is a role for everyone – and success will breed success.
